Where Should I Begin?

Dissertations and theses may be found in several sources.

LVC MME theses may be found by using the LVC Theses search box.  

Dissertations and theses may be located by using WorldCat Dissertations, a resource that points to citations/abstracts of dissertations and theses published in the US, Britain, Canada, and other European countries.

WorldCat Dissertations  will require the use of ILLiad, or interlibrary loan to obtain a copy of the dissertation/thesis.

To view a selection of LVC theses that have been digitized, go to LVC Digital Papers.


Best search (cut and paste this):   "lebanon valley college" AND dissertations AND music


Request a dissertation via Interlibrary Loan, or ILLiad.  ILLiad is a service that will provide you with materials that LVC does not own.

WorldCat Dissertations will provide a Request an item through ILLiad link on each of the results you find.

You can also request a dissertation via ILLiad from the library's homepage.

With ILLiad, you'll either get a PDF of the dissertation sent to you electronically, or a hard copy that will need to be returned.
