It all depends upon the type of information you need.
Often, when beginning to research, you'll need a broad overview of your subject, some background information, and perhaps some biographical information. This type of information may be found under the background info tab.
Most researchers need journal articles--resources for finding journal and magazine articles may be found under the articles tab.
More extensive research requires the use of more lengthy, in-depth resources--books and dissertations.
For musicians, the availability of scores and audio resources are crucial--find audio/video resources under the media tab; find score resources under the score tab.
