The amount of information available, as well as searching for and sifting through that information, can be overwhelming. This guide will help you find what you're looking for more efficiently.
Start with the Find tab. For an overview of your subject, use Find-->Books. Under the books tab, you'll find WorldCat, the catalog of the world's libraries. WorldCat will give you access to close to 3 billion records from over 77,000 libraries.
For research or current information, MEDLINE will lead you to scholarly journal articles. Find MEDLINE Complete under the Find-->Articles tab.
Do you need evidence-based information? The Find-->evidence-based practice tab provides multiple sources to search, as well as information on how to formulate a good research question and how to evaluate your sources.
