Ebooks allow one to search the entire full-text of the books, which can be both an advantage and a disadvantage.

After you run your search, in the facets section off to the left of the page, under Subjects choose Electronic Books.

40 million full-text books. About 10 million of these ebooks are available for full view. Most full view ebooks are in the public domain, meaning they've been published prior to 1923.
