How to Renew Items

Access your Bishop Library and Tipasa accounts to view and renew items.

Bishop Library Account

Once you're signed in, click on your name in the upper right hand corner, then click on My Loans.

Choose the item you'd like to renew.   Choose Renew.

Some library materials may not be able to be renewed because of a hold, overdue block, or other reason.  If you are unable to renew an item yourself, please visit or call the Library at 717-867-6977.

Your library account is also used to place holds on items that are currently checked out.

Tipasa | ILL Account

Students, faculty and staff can place Interlibrary Loan (ILL) requests for items that the library does not own or have access to in its own collection such as books and articles.

Books and other physical items borrowed through ILL will not be listed on your regular library account since the library does not own these materials.

You must access your Tipasa account to renew an ILL item.   Renewals are determined by the lending library, so they can be denied.  Once an ILL item becomes overdue, you will have to email ILL staff at ill@lvc.edu or call 717-867-6977 to place a renewal request.
