Ebook Central (formerly Ebrary Academic Complete) is the library's largest collection of e-books with over 120,000 titles currently available.
The library subscribes to this collection, so the titles included can change as the vendor adds and removes titles. The collection covers a wide-range of academic subjects.

Use the Read Online button on the e-book detail page to access the text of the e-book. A toolbar of options appears above the text of the e-book. You will be prompted to sign-in for some options, like full download or add to a bookshelf.

Current students, faculty and staff can take advantage of additional features by signing in to their account. Features include a bookshelf, folders, annotations and more.
To sign in and access your bookshelf, click on the Sign in link at the top right corner of the search screen and enter in your LVC username and password. If you had existing books saved in Ebrary Academic Complete, you will get prompted to migrate them over to Ebook Central.

In addition, browse through a selection of ebrary titles from Choice Outstanding Academic Titles and Doody's Core Titles.
For a majority of the e-books, you have the option to download/borrow an e-book for up to 21 days. This option would allow you to view the e-book offline, such as on your desktop/laptop or mobile device. The Full Download option appears right below the Read Online button on the e-book detail page.
You will get prompted to sign in with your LVC username/password if you are not already signed in. Ebook Central should recognize what device you are using or you can manually choose one. Depending upon what device you are using, you will be prompted to either download free Adobe Editions software and/or create an Adobe ID online. Mobile devices require an install of a free Bluefire Reader app.
