The Pennsylvania State Data Center serves as Pennsylvania's official source of population and economic statistics.

Provides aggregate census data and GIS-compatible boundary files for the United States between 1790 and 2011. Includes data from historical censuses 1790-1960, modern censuses (core summary files and special supplements), County Business Patterns, and American Community Survey. IPUMS/NHGIS. For social and economic research. Census microdata are composed of individual records containing information collected on persons and households. The unit of observation is the individual.
