Dr. Billings taught at Lebanon Valley from 1970 until his retirement in 2015. He is a poet with several published volumes. Dr. Billings received the Hot Dog Frank Athletic Service Award for support of LVC athletics and the Vickroy Distinguished Teaching Award.
