Where Should I Begin?

Searching for and sifting through large amounts of information can be overwhelming.

Use this guide as you would a map; it'll help you find what you're looking for more efficiently.

For research or current information, under the Articles tab, America: History and Life will lead you to scholarly journal articles.

For more breadth and depth of coverage, use books.  Under the Books tab, you'll find WorldCat, which will give you access to close to 2 billion records from over 72,000 libraries.

Do you need newspaper articles?  Under the articles tab, you'll find sources for finding full-text newspaper articles.
