Dr. Chasalow worked for several Fortune 500 companies during his 30+-year career in business, serving in positions ranging from manufacturing quality control to sales management and as an IT director for AT&T and as an IT director with Capital One Financial and IBM Global Solutions. Dr. Chasalow, who teaches Management Information Systems (MIS) at the undergraduate and graduate (MBA) level, among other courses, uses an applied approach to introduce his students to various information systems concepts as they contribute to various organizational functions. His primary research is in organizational factors that contribute to organizational benefits from business intelligence and analytic systems. He has published articles on business intelligence, information security, and systems development methodologies in several top MIS journals in addition to presentations at international conferences.
